Compassionate Forgiveness


It can be so hard to forgive those who have wronged us when we do not forgive them. However, we are only hurting ourselves because we cannot move on. Forgiving does not mean that we forget, it just means that we broaden our understanding of any given situation to find a way of surrendering our own anger, resentment, blame, and bitterness.

When we do this we relieve ourselves of the suffering those emotions cause us which creates for us healthier lives and happier hearts.
